DaysofPal- A young Palestinian man was killed on Tuesday when an Israeli drone targeted the town of Bani Suheila, east of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, marking yet another violation of the fragile ceasefire.
Israeli military vehicles simultaneously opened heavy machine-gun fire in the area, while explosions were reported from the demolition of residential buildings east of the city.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, the total number of bodies recovered since the truce began has climbed to 432 martyrs.
In its daily update, the ministry reported that 13 Palestinians were received by hospitals in the past 24 hours, seven killed in direct Israeli attacks and six bodies recovered, along with eight injured individuals.
The statement added that many victims are still trapped under rubble or lying on the roads, as rescue teams and civil defense crews struggle to access affected areas due to ongoing Israeli fire.
The ministry further noted that the overall death toll from the Israeli genocide in Gaza, which started on October 7, 2023, has reached 68,229 martyrs and 170,369 wounded.
Since the ceasefire came into force on October 10, 2025, 80 Palestinians have been killed, 311 injured, and 432 bodies recovered.
It also confirmed that 165 bodies have been handed over by the Israeli occupation to Gaza authorities through the International Committee of the Red Cross.
