DaysofPal-The Government Media Office in Gaza announced on Monday that extensive preparations are underway to welcome the Palestinian prisoners who will be released from Israeli jails as part of the ceasefire agreement between Hamas and the Israeli occupation.
According to the statement, more than 7,000 government employees from various ministries and public institutions are taking part in the coordinated national effort to organize the reception.
The office said the preparations involve comprehensive coordination among health, service, security, relief, and media ministries to ensure a smooth and dignified reception that reflects the nation’s deep appreciation for the prisoners, who “endured long years of suffering and steadfastness in the face of Israeli imprisonment.”
It added that these efforts represent a collective national initiative, with all government bodies working under an integrated plan addressing humanitarian, service, administrative, and media aspects to provide comfort and care for the released prisoners and their families.
The statement stressed that welcoming the freed prisoners is both a national and moral duty, reflecting loyalty and gratitude for their sacrifices and reaffirming the government’s commitment to serving the Palestinian people across all sectors, especially in this sensitive stage that embodies Palestinian unity and steadfastness in defending their rights and principles.
