DaysofPal- Amnesty International has warned that Israel’s failure to respond to international warnings regarding its actions in Gaza indicates its intention to continue genocide and its policy of collective extermination against Palestinians.
The rights organization stated that orders by the Israeli forces for the mass displacement of Gaza City residents are brutal and unlawful, exacerbating the daily hardships under continuous bombardment and intensive airstrikes on residential neighborhoods, which have killed hundreds of civilians, including women and children.
Amnesty International added that hundreds of thousands of Gazans are living in temporary camps or overcrowded buildings after their homes were destroyed, facing severe shortages of drinking water and food, while humanitarian aid remains blocked. Reports indicate that famine and malnutrition are spreading rapidly, with hospitals and health centers unable to accommodate the increasing numbers of injured and sick, forcing many to sleep on the floors under dire sanitary conditions.
Amnesty International emphasized that forcing Palestinians into displacement constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and amounts to war crimes.
It urged the international community to act urgently to halt these violations, ensure the delivery of humanitarian assistance, and protect civilians from further displacement and suffering.
