DaysofPal- Several Palestinians were killed and injured in an Israeli airstrike on a house in Jabalia town, located in the northern Gaza Strip, on Friday evening.
Local sources reported that Israeli fighter jets targeted the Abu Warda family’s home in Jabalia al-Balad, resulting in multiple casualties.
According to the latest toll, four Palestinians were reported killed and several others injured.
In addition, the Israeli occupation forces issued evacuation orders via fighter jets to Palestinians southeast of Jabalia.The airstrikes also included a series of raids on Gaza City, where several houses were destroyed in the Abu Al-Jidyan roundabout area in Beit Lahia, north of the Strip, accompanied by artillery shelling.
Earlier in the day, four Palestinians were killed and eight others injured when Israeli aircraft bombed a house and a gathering in Gaza City. Medical sources confirmed that three Palestinians were killed and five injured in a bombing of a house in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City. Additionally, a Palestinian was killed and three others injured when occupation aircraft struck a gathering of people in the Sabra neighborhood, south of the city.
Israel’s strike on Jabalia follows a bloody attack on Thursday on the Nuseirat refugee camp, which resulted in the killing of 33 Palestinian citizens and the injury of dozens.
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry has condemned the “brutal massacre” carried out by the Israeli army in the Nuseirat refugee camp.
“We condemn the savage massacre perpetrated by the occupation forces in Nuseirat camp, which led to the deaths and injuries of more than 150 Palestinians and caused massive destruction to buildings,” the ministry said in a statement on Friday.
This past week, Palestinians in northern Gaza faced additional rounds of forced displacement as Israeli forces ordered around 5,500 people, who had been taking shelter in schools in Beit Lahiya, to relocate to Gaza City.
Since the end of November, the United Nations estimates that approximately 8,000 people have been forcibly displaced from northern Gaza to Gaza City.
