DayofPal– A deadly Israeli drone strike targeted a food distribution center and a house in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, claiming the lives of at least five individuals, among them four children, On Wednesday.
Israel has been deliberately targeted several food distribution points across the Gaza Strip in a bid for starving the Gaza population, including two food points in the Nuseirat camp.
Famine policies Israel has used against Gaza residents is represented by the lack of food items in the markets, lack of aid trucks entering Gaza, attacks on food distribution points, and the surge in looting aid by armed gangs supported by the Israeli army.
Last week, two kids and a lady died of suffocation while waiting for bread among the crowds at one of south Gaza bakeries.
Earlier today, a Palestinian medic was killed, and many others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on a UN-run school in the Al-Bureij camp in central Gaza. The attack caused massive fire that destroyed at least 20 makeshift tents in the school’s courtyard, where hundreds of displaced families are sheltering.
Since the start of August, the Israeli forces have attacked schools, hospitals, clinics, and shelter halls over 65 times, including 39 times in October, according to the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor report. These attacks aim to “forcefully displace the Palestinian population from the area.”
The Israeli attacks have included shelling, direct shootings, killing forcibly displaced people and their families, or making them leave schools-turned-shelters under fire with orders to evacuate.
