For the tenth day in a raw, the Israeli army has sustained its extensive military campaign against Lebanon, intensifying airstrikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut, bringing the death toll to 1,873, according to health sources.
Early Wednesday, Israeli warplanes executed nine successive airstrikes within a two-hour span on the southern suburbs of Beirut, following urgent evacuation warnings for residents in the neighborhoods of Hadath, Roueiss, Chouweifat, and Haret Hreik, according to local sources.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that 55 people were killed and 156 others injured as a result of Israeli airstrikes on various regions of Lebanon in the past 24 hours.
Since October 8, 2023, the number of casualties that has been resulted from the Israeli aggression on Lebanon reached 1,873, according to Lebanese Disaster Management Unit.
The government’s Disaster Risk Management Unit, in its latest report, revealed that the total toll since the commencement of Israeli hostilities has reached 1,873 and injuries reached 9,134.
Furthermore, it noted that the number of displaced people resulted from Israeli aggressions on several regions has surpassed one million, with 155,600 of those people officially registered in shelters.
Israeli warplanes also launched a series of airstrikes on various areas in the Bekaa region of eastern Lebanon on Tuesday afternoon.
The bombardments impacted areas surrounding Baalbek and several neighboring towns, including Laboue, Talia, Sarin, Ain Bourday, and Rasem Hadath. These strikes targeted specific structures and agricultural fields, leading to substantial material destruction.
