Ezzat Al-Rishq, a member of Hamas’ Political Bureau, strongly decried the murder of Turkish-American citizen called Aisha Nour, 26, who was deliberately shot dead in the head by the Israeli occupation forces in Beita, south of Nablus.

He deemed the incident a horrific crime that exposes the brutality of the Israeli occupation, which seeks to silence every voice opposing its aggressive war against Palestine and its people.

Al-Rishq said the US is Complicit in her murder as it continues to support Israel with arms sales.

“This heinous bullet that killed this activist in solidarity with Palestine is the same bullet that the occupation army receives from the American administration and uses to kill our people daily across all the occupied Palestinian territories,” he added.

In light of this horrific crime committed by Israelo forces and resulted in the death of an American citizen, Al-Rashiq posed a critical question to the US administration.

He asked: “Will the American administration and President Biden take action to hold the perpetrators accountable and prosecute them, or will American blood be distinguished based on whether it supports the Israeli occupation or stands in solidarity with Palestinians?

“This crime is an extension of the Israeli occupation’s crimes against foreign supporters of Palestinain people, which have claimed the lives of dozens of them, most notably activist “Rachel Corrie,” Hamas said.

“We call on the international community and the United Nations to act immediately to curb the occupation government’s behavior and hold it accountable for its fascist actions.”

“We urge the U.S. administration to review its biased policies that support the Israeli occupation’s crimes, which led to the tragic death of Turkish-American activist.”
