About 55% of all structures in the Gaza enclave have been rendered destroyed or damaged by the war, according to a preliminary satellite analysis carried out by the United Nations Satellite Centre (UNSOAT).
The analysis, which surveyed 137,000 buildings in the enclave, found that 36,591structures were destroyed, 16,513 structures were severely damaged, 47,368 moderately damaged, other 36,825 possibly damaged.
Central Gaza’s camps of Deir el-Balah and northern Gaza’s Gaza City had experienced the worst damage between April 1 and May 3, said UNOSAT.
According to Government Media Office in Gaza, approximately over 190 government headquarters were destroyed by the Israeli airstrikes or tanks’ attacks. (109, 604, 87000) of schools and universities, mosques, and housing unites, respectively, were completely destroyed.
While (316, 200, 297,000) schools and universities, mosques, and housing unites, respectively, were partially demolished by the Israeli army war machine.
206 archaeological and heritage sites in addition to 3 churches were also destroyed and affected by the Israeli bombardment.
Death toll resulted from Israel’s onslaughts ob the enclave since October 7 has risen to 36,839 martyrs and 82,750 injured.
