Hamas Movement slammed on Monday pro-Israel remarks made by the US senator Senator Lindsey Graham on the way to end the war on Gaza as he suggested an even more devastating method than a massive military operation in the Gaza enclave.
Graham said in an interview on Sunday that America was right when it hit Hiroshima and Nagasaki with nuclear bombs and that they should: ‘Give Israel the bombs they need to end the war.
“The shocking remarks made by American Senator Lindsey Graham, suggesting that the fascist Israeli occupation should bomb Gaza with a nuclear bomb, reveal the profound moral decay he has descended to, and the mentality of genocide and colonization embedded in him and in other segments of the political elite in the United States,” Hamas said in the statement.
Graham’s speech coincided with recent remarks by the Consultant of US National Security who stated that “We don’t think what’s happening in Gaza amounts to Genocide,” turning a blind eye to 7-month unprecedented war that claimed the lives of about 40,000 Palestinians in hundreds of massacres across the Gaza enclave.
Hamas, in its statement, condemned such racist calls to wipe out Gaza amid an ethnic cleansing policy that has started since the onset of war, appealing to all free people around the globe to continue to lay pressure on ‘Israel’ to accept a ceasefire deal that could stop the genocidal acts against Gaza civilians.
Since October 7th, more than 40000 Palestinians in Gaza were killed or missed under the rubble as a result of Israel’s deliberate target of civilians’ houses and densely populated areas from air, ground and sea.
