The Center for Political and Development Studies and Days of Palestine convened on Monday July 29th, to announce the winners in the competition Gaza Challenge.  The panel was comprised of three individuals:  Dr. Mosheer Amer, Mrs. Rana Shubair, and Mr. Mohamad Redwan.

Redwan, the event organizer, began his speech by welcoming the six competing teams. He stressed that the Gaza Challenge was an exceptional one that focused on the unique content created by the teams and the diversity of tools to relay the message that serves the Palestinian cause.

He concluded by thanking the panel on behalf of the team of DOP and CPDS for their meticulous efforts to achieve objective results.

Redwan also thanked all the teams for their efforts, stressing the importance of their role in conveying the Palestinian message and the need for the continuation of such activities.

Dr. Mosheer Amer, the head of the CPDS, praised the participating teams in the challenge, saying that it was the first of its kind and which united the cadres of young people who are full of energy and motivation in their goal to defend the Palestinian cause.

He added that the goal of this challenge is to identify and enhance strengths, identify weaknesses and treat them, as well as work to embrace all youth cadres working in the media specialized in defending the Palestinian cause.

He concluded that the results of the competition had been studied and analyzed with precision and accordingly the winners were identified. He urged the teams to continue with their efforts to support the Palestinian cause.

Rana Shubair, the editor of Days of Palestine website, stressed that each of the teams was distinguished from the other in a special way. She called for unifying efforts and working as one team to deliver the Palestinian message to the world.

At the end of the event, Redwan asked the leader of each team to talk about their work and idea and the techniques they used to convey the message to the world.

The teams agreed that such events are the most appropriate way to spread the Palestinian voice to the world, and the teams showed a great awareness in the ways of delivering the message by focusing on the human side of the Palestinians and by using evidence and facts.

Redwan concluded the meeting by inviting all the teams to sign up to become members in the Center for Political and Development Studies, stressing that one of the most important objectives of the center is to foster the talents of the youth.

The competition ended with the announcement of the winners. Palestinian Voices Team won the first place, Birds Without Borders team came in second place and Titans team won the third place. The three remaining teams were also given a certificates of appreciation.
