The EU’s foreign policy chief Josep Borrell joined on 4 March 2024 the calls from US Vice President Kamala Harris in calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
Posting on X Borrell said, “There should be no obstacle for a UNSC (UN Security Council) resolution to that effect.”
“Time for the UNSC to act,” he added.
It is worth noting that the Israeli occupation continues its intense airstrikes on Gaza for the 150th day, killing 30,534 Palestinians including 13,430 children and 8,900 women.
