Days Of Palestine [ Gaza ]
Higher National Commission of Great Return March and Breaking of Siege, the National Committee to Break the Siege, and members of local and international news agencies organized a protest outside the UNSCO office in Gaza today to demand the opening of Gaza’s borders and end the inhuman Israeli blockade. The commission ended its protest by sending a letter to the responsibe parties to collaborate in finding a solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
Mahmoud Khalaf, a member of the Higher National Commesion, warned from the procrastination of implementing the last agreement between Israel and the Palestinian resistence with the help of Egyption and reagional moderator. He asserted that the Great Return March will continue its activities peacefully untill fulfilling all the Palestinian requirements which are basically legal rights. The commission will be abide by its main principles as Palestinians have the right to return to their homelands as stated by U.N. resolution of 194 and that Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine, he added.
Highlighting the significance of BDS in economically resisting the Israeli occupation, he asked all the Arab countries to stop normalizing with Israel and start serious actions of boycott. Addressing the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah, he called for implementing the procedures of the Palestinian National Council issued last year including the reconciliation with the rest of the Palestinian factions and stopping the coordination with Israel. Finally, he invited the audience to participate on the coming march next Friday.
Additionally, the head of the General Union of Palestinian Workers, Sami Al-Amassi, confirmed that pressure should be put to force the Israeli to lift the illegal siege imposed on Gaza Strip for more than 13years and that Israel should abide by the decisions it took especially the ones related to the economic and political rights of Palestinians.
