Israeli settlers attacked on Thursday night, August 24, the 51-year-old Palestinian citizen Munjid Jameel Sheikh Ibrahim from the town of Kafr Ra’i in the Jenin governorate, while he was passing near the town of Hawara, south of Nablus.
According to local sources, settlers from the ‘Yitzhar’ settlement, under the protection of Israeli forces, pelted Sheikh Ibrahim with stones as he was driving his truck near Hawara. This resulted in him sustaining injuries and bruises all over his body.
In recent times, there has been a concerning escalation of Israeli violence directed towards Palestinians. This surge in violence has manifested in various forms, including attacks by settlers on Palestinian individuals and properties.
