Local sources said that 67 Jewish settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque through the Maghrba Gate early morning and then performed their rituals near the Bab al-Rahma area with protection of the Israeli police.
They arrested Al-Aqsa guard, Muhammad Salhi and transferred him to a nearby interrogation center.
The sources said there was a high expectation of an increase in the number of settlers at the site in the afternoon. Israeli settlers carry out provocative incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque on a daily basis, except on Friday and Saturday, in two rounds: in the morning and in the afternoon.
