Israeli occupation navy arrested on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, five Palestinian fishermen off the coast of Gaza and confiscated their fishing boat.
Israeli naval vessels surrounded a fishing boat in the Al-Sudaneia area of the northwestern sea of Gaza and seized it.
They also arrested five Palestinian fishermen: Mohammad Omar Alhebeel, Jihad Mahmoud Alhebeel, Zakaria Mohammad Omar Alhebeel, Hassan Fadel Bakr, and Saddam Majed Bakr.
The IOF transported the Palestinian fishermen to the port of Ashdod.
Israeli naval forces frequently target fishermen in the waters of Gaza, resorting to gunfire, arrests, and sabotaging fishing nets.
They seize their boats and prevent them from practicing their fishing profession.
