Israeli occupation forces invaded Aqbat Jabr camp in Jericho, a city in the occupied West Bank, on Wednesday afternoon, leading to a confrontation between anti–occupation fighters and the Israeli forces.
Initial reports arising out of Jericho stated that a Palestinian man was killed by Israeli forces during the raid.
According to local reports, Israeli special forces laid siege to a home in the camp and military reinforcements were subsequently summoned.
In the past two days, Jericho witnessed multiple shooting incidents, resulting in the fatality of a settler and injury to some others.
