Israeli settlers began Sunday, January 15, 2023 fencing off land in Khirbet Al-Farsi in the northern Jordan Valley area.
Aref Daraghmeh, a human rights activist, said that the fencing works carried out by the Israeli settlers are taking place in the Ahmir area in Farsi, and come as a continuation of the construction and fencing of the lands they seized about eight months ago.
It is noteworthy that the Al-Farisi area has recently witnessed repeated violations by Israeli settlers, and this coincides with a project to establish a school and settlement facilities on the lands of the Farisi.
Israeli Settlement Council began implementing such project since April last year, as 30 dunums of the Khirbet lands were leveled and fenced for this purpose.
