Israeli extremist settlers on Saturday morning, December 3, uprooted dozens of olive trees from the Palestinian-owned lands in Bruqin town, west of occupied Salfit.
Palestinian farmer Mohammed Fawaz said that groups of Israeli settlers uprooted 50 olive seedlings in Khalet Al-Zafaaran, north of the town.
Moreover, local sources reported that the settlers from the Israeli illegal settlement of Ariel infiltrated the Palestinian land and uprooted the trees.
Israeli settlers, protected by Israeli occupation forces, systematically target the Palestinian olive trees as an act of ecological apartheid against Palestinian lives.
According to figures published by Yesh Din in 2021, 42 violations were committed by Israeli settlers against Palestinians during the olive harvest season, including 13 physical attacks with sticks, stones, and tear gas.
