Israeli settlers attacked Saturday, October 22, 2022 two Palestinian girls by pepper gas today during a raid on the village of Huwwara, to the south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
Awwad Najem, a local Palestinian resident stated that a group of Israeli settlers attacked his two daughters, Shaden and Rasha, with pepper gas while on their way to university. He said that his two daughters were treated for suffocation as a result of the attack.
A video on social media also showed Israeli settlers attacking homes and shops of the local Palestinian residents in Huwwara, with Israeli soldiers standing idly by to protect the settlers.
Today’s incident is the latest in an ongoing wave of army-guarded Israeli settler terrorism against defenceless Palestinian civilians across the occupied West Bank, especially in the northern province of Nablus.
