Palestinian Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Authority, National Forces, and Palestinian Prisoner’s Club organized Thursday, 6 October 2022 a stand in support of the Palestinian hunger-striking and sick Palestinian detainees in the Israeli occupation prisons.
The Palestinian participants raised the Palestinian flag and pictures of Palestinian hunger strikers and patients, including pictures of cancer-stricken detainee Nasser Abu Hamid, chanting slogans in support of the Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.
The participants denounced Israel’s illegal policy of administrative detention and the deliberate medical neglect pursued by the Israeli occupation against Palestinian prisoners in the prisons.
This stand comes as part of a series of events organized in all Palestinian cities to confirm Palestinian people’s support for the issue of prisoners. We will not allow the Israeli occupation to single out our prisoners and implement its criminal policy against them

In a related incident, the Student Council Union and the Student Youth Movement at Kadoorie University in Al-Aroub camp, north of Hebron organized a support stand for the Palestinian hunger strikers and sick detainees before the house of the prisoner Muhammad Nidal Abu Ghazi, in which a large number of students and members of the university’s faculty and administrative staff participated.
The students raised the Palestinian flags and chanted slogans supporting the Palestinian prisoners, calling for the immediate release of all prisoners in the Israeli occupation prisons.
Israeli Occupation uses deliberate medical negligence as a common punitive measure against Palestinian detainees in Israeli jails.
600 sick Palestinian detainees have been held in the Israeli occupation jails, including 23 cancer-stricken prisoners.
73 Palestinian prisoners lost their lives inside Israeli occupation prisons since 1967 due to a systematic policy of deliberate medical negligence, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Club.
