Israeli occupation forces broke Monday, September 18, 2022 into Al-Aqsa Mosque director`s house, Sheikh Omar Kiswani and detained him in occupied East Jerusalem.
Kiswani was detained for several hours at the Israeli police station before he was released.
According to Palestinian eyewitnesses, Israeli occupation soldiers seized Kiswani`s personal stuff including his laptop and other documents from his home in al-Tur neighborhood, after thoroughly searching and ransacking it.
This came as a threat to all Palestinian influencers and activists who called for a comprehensive and urgent vigil rebelling against breaking into Al-Aqsa Mosque during the upcoming Jewish holidays.
Dozens of Palestinians from East Jerusalem have been detained or ordered to forcibly stay away from Al-Aqsa Mosque for days, weeks, months and years.
