Days of Palestine, Jerusalem -The most prominent symbol of defending occupied Palestine and Al-Aqsa Mosque ignores threats and incitement of Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu.
In a statement, the Head of Islamic Movement in occupied Palestine (Israel) Sheikh Raed Salah rejected Netanyahu’s incitement against him, pledging to continue “exposing Israeli crimes.”
On Sunday, Netanyahu accused Salah, whose movement was banned by the Israeli government in November last year, of being behind all the chaos in occupied Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque, saying he should have been jailed a long time ago.
“Threatening language and incitement against me will not stop me from exposing of the Israeli occupation’s crimes in Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque and the surrounding areas,” Salah said in the statement.
“I do not fear anyone but God,” he continued, “It is a great honour to defend the blessed city of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque. I am sure that the Israeli occupation and its representatives are ending very soon.”
Salah had called for Palestinians to visit Al-Aqsa Mosque and stay inside it in large numbers during the Jewish Passover, in an attempt to undermine plans of extremist Jewish leaders to increase their desecration of the third holiest place on earth for around 2bn Muslims around the world.
