Days of Palestine, Gaza Strip –A number of Israeli officials have used Paris ‘terror’ attack to call for the West to support attacks on Palestinians.

Israeli Prime Minsiter Benjamin Netanyahu used the attack on the French satiric magazine Cahrlie Hebdo to call for the West to support the Israeli war on the Palestinians and to blame the EU member states for voting for a Palestinian state.

Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman also called for the West not to remain weak before the “Islamic” terror, which Israel is already fighting.

Netanyahu prominently called for the West to intensify its support for ‘Israel’ in its war against the Islamists, mainly the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas, which resists the occupation of Palestine. He linked between the ideology of the attackers and that of Hamas.

“The attacks of radical Islam know no boundaries,” Netanyahu told French President Francois Hollande on the telephone, “these are international attacks and the response has to be international.”

Netanyahu told Hollande that that Israel has experienced similar attacks by Hamas and Hezbollah. “We know the pain but we also know the resolution with which free societies can defeat terror—however dreadful, however threatening,” he said.

He added: “Israel stands beside France in this hard day. The terror of Hamas, Hezbollah, ISIL and Al-Qaeda will not stop should Europe does not directly fight it and undermine all its fake reasons. The Islamic terror is not mainly targeting Israel, but even is targeting the West and its civilisation.”

Netanyahu told Hollande that the “Islamic terror is aiming to reinforce the civilisation of autocracy and oppression which will take the human beings ages behind.” For that reason, he said: “We do not have to give them a chance to justify terror. We have to fight it.”

Meanwhile, Lieberman said: “The free world does not have to look weak before terrorism and it must strongly face it.”

In a letter sent to his French counterpart, Lieberman said: “It is needed to face terrorists and not to give them the chance to achieve anything.”

He stressed that the world has to help the Israeli occupation in its war against the Palestinian factions which adopt common principles with those who carried out the attack.

However, the International Business Times published an article on Thursday linking between the Israeli Mossad and the attack. It used material facts to prove its argument.
