Israeli occupation forces (IOF) shot dead on Sunday a Palestinian woman after they opened fire at her while she was crossing an Israeli military checkpoint near the village of Husan, to the west of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank.
The woman, who was identified as Ghada Ibrahim Ali Sabatien, was walking past the checkpoint when soldiers opened gunfire at her and were later rushed by a private car to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, witnesses said.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed that the woman lost large amounts of blood and later succumbed to her injuries.
Sources confirmed that Sabatien is a widowed Palestinian woman who has seven children. Her children become orphans from father and mother, they said.
Meanwhile, Hamas Movement extremely condemned Israeli crime. In a statement, the movement said that the execution of the Palestinian citizen, Ghada Sabatien, in cold blood, in Husan, Bethlehem, a mother of seven children, is a heinous crime was committed by the Israeli Zionist occupation and reveals once again its brutal behavior and its terrorist army.
Hamas added that this heinous crime, and the continuous crimes of the Zionist occupation against our people, our land, and our holy sites, require punishment, and require escalation and sustainability of the resistance, and engagement with it, to deter it and stop its crimes until its demise.
