Days of Palestine, Cairo –Palestinian teenager, who was shot in the head by an Israeli soldier in Jerusalem a week ago, succumbed to his wounds Sunday morning, family sources said.
Mohamed Sunuqrot, 16, was shot by an Israeli occupation soldiers with a rubber-coated steel bullet in the head on Monday.
He suffered a fractured skull as a result of the attack and at the time underwent surgery at Hadassah Medical Centre in Jerusalem in order to stop bleeding and remove fragments caused by the bullet.

Mohamed was preparing himself for the new school year when he was shot.
Abdul-Majid Sunuqrut, Muhammad’s faher, said that his son “died this morning and his body is expected to be taken to the Abu-Kabir Forensic Institute for an autopsy to be undertaken by a Palestinian doctor and a lawyer.”
The Israeli occupation has recently stepped up its aggression against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.
Addameer organisation for human rights said that the Israeli occupation arrested more than 770 Palestinians in the previous two months.
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society said that the Israeli occupation arrested 127 Palestinians across the occupied west Bank during the first week of September.
