DayofPal– Gaza Government Media Office warned that the Israeli occupation army has continued its ground, aerial, and naval aggression intensively on the northern Gaza Strip for sixty consecutive days, targeting the areas of Jabaliya, Beit Hanoun, Beit Lahiya, and the surrounding areas.
As a result of the relentless aggression, the office revealed that more than 3,700 Gazans have been killed and missing, of whom 2,400 have been buried. Additionally, 10,000 have been injured and 1,750 arrested from northern Gaza.
The Israeli occupation further has targeted and obstructed the work of civil defense teams in the mentioned governorates, in addition to destroying vital sectors, primarily the health sector and hospitals, as well as destroying water networks, sewage systems, infrastructure, and roads.
This is worsening the humanitarian crisis in the northern Gaza Strip, which the office declared last month as a devastated area.
Eyewitnesses told the office that more than 500 to 650 people’s bodies have been on the streets and roads for two continuous months with the Israeli occupation army preventing medical and relief teams as well as civil defense from reaching them. This led to stray dogs ravaging the bodies on the streets with these bodies remain unidentified.
In addition, the Israeli occupation continues its barbaric and brutal assaults, deliberately targeting civilians, residential areas, and displacement centers. Furthermore, the Israeli army continues to use hunger and thirst as weapons, depriving civilians of access to aid, goods, and food supplies.
Israel has blocked more than 8,000 aid trucks and goods from entering the northern Gaza Strip. These crime are classified as a crime against humanity under international law amid U.S., Germany, and France support.
The head of Gaza media office condemned the Israeli occupation for committing crimes against humanity, including massacres, ethnic cleansing, and genocide, targeting civilians, especially in northern Gaza.
It also calls on all nations to condemn these atrocities and hold the Israeli occupation, the U.S., U.K., Germany, France, and other complicit countries responsible for continuing the war of ethnic cleansing and genocide, urging the international community and organizations to provide humanitarian aid and protection, and to pressure Israel to stop its brutal actions.
