The striking prisoners are identified as Saif Qasem Hamdan, Osama Maher Khalil, Qusi Jamal Khader, Saleh Ra’fat Rabai’ah, and Kayed al-Fasfous.
The prisoners Hamdan, Khalil, Khader, and Rabai’ah launched their hunger strike on July 30, entering today their seventh day of hunger strike.
Al-Fasfous, aged 34, incarcerated in the “Negev” Prison, hailing from the town of Dura in the south of Hebron, continues his hunger strike for the second consecutive day.
The Palestinian Prisoner’s Club affirms that the administrative detainees persist in their continuous efforts to confront the crime of administrative detention. The hunger strike remains their prominent form of resistance against this injustice.
The Israeli occupation continues to escalate the crime of administrative detention, with the current number of administrative detainees reaching 1200 prisoners. This figure represents the highest rate since the Al-Aqsa Intifada.
