Israeli occupation forces opened fire towards shepherds in the eastern part of Rafah Governorate in the southern Gaza Strip on Saturday morning.
Local sources reported that Israeli forces, stationed near the Sofa military site east of Rafah, shot at the shepherds in the area, but no injuries were reported.
From time to time, Israeli military vehicles fire bullets and gas bombs towards civilians and farmers in the border areas of the Gaza Strip.
Israel imposed a blockade on Gaza, severely restricting the movement of people and goods in and out of the territory. This blockade has had devastating effects on the livelihoods and living conditions of the Gazan population, leading to a dire humanitarian crisis.
Under the Israeli air, land, and sea blockade, Palestinian farmers, shepherds, and fishermen are subject to regular attacks by Israeli occupation forces.
