DaysofPal— On the 43rd day of the ceasefire agreement, Israeli occupation forces continued their violations, escalating attacks that have further devastated the already dire humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip. At least 22 Palestinians were killed Saturday in a series of Israeli airstrikes and drone attacks.
In Gaza City, five people were killed when Israeli drones targeted a civilian vehicle near Al-Abbas Junction. Separately, four others died when Israeli warplanes bombed the Abed family’s home near Bilal Bin Rabah Mosque in Deir al-Balah. In Nuseirat, three members of the Abu Amonah family were killed near Al-Awda Hospital, while another three were killed in Gaza City’s Al-Nasr neighborhood during a strike on the Al-Khodari home.
The Israeli military claimed to have killed five Palestinians for allegedly approaching Israeli forces or emerging from tunnels, though no independent verification was provided.
Medical sources confirmed the 22 deaths across Deir al-Balah, Nuseirat, and Gaza City. Witnesses also reported dozens of Israeli strikes, including on areas supposedly under Israeli control per the ceasefire, especially in Rafah and Khan Younis.
Israeli shelling targeted Al-Tuffah and Al-Shuja’iya in northern Gaza, while three Palestinians were injured in separate shootings. One body was recovered from Tel al-Hawa after an earlier strike.
On Friday, airstrikes in Bani Suheila and southern Khan Younis killed four, including a displaced person.
Since the October 10 ceasefire, Israeli attacks have killed 323 Palestinians and injured 788. The total death toll in Gaza since October 7, 2023, has now reached 69,738, with 170,863 wounded—most of them women and children.
