DaysofPal- Nineteen Palestinian detainees arrived at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital after being released from Israeli prisons through the Kerem Shalom crossing.
Teams from the International Committee of the Red Cross transported the freed detainees from Israeli detention facilities to the hospital in Deir al-Balah, where they are receiving medical care.
According to the Prisoners’ Information Office, the released detainees are:
Jihad Nasser Hafez Salman (Beit Lahia), Sami Suleiman Salman Abu Sitta (Khan Younis), Ahmad Bashir Mohammad Nasr (Jabalia), Maher Abdullah Saleh al-Atwi (Al-Tuffah), Mahmoud Ismail Ali Ghaben (Beit Lahia), Nahidh Ahmad al-Fajm (Khan Younis), Saleh Ayoub Saleh al-Atwi (Sheikh Ajleen), Khalil Ibrahim Salama al-Jabali (Al-Zaytoun), Eid Eid Mohammad Nabhan (Jabalia), Omar Salem Mohammad al-Rubayea (Al-Zawaida), Ramadan Awad Ramadan al-Najjar (Jabalia), Mahmoud Odeh Radi Zamqat (Khan Younis), Alaa Zakaria Hosni Kahil (Gaza), Khalil Ibrahim Arefa Zarandah (Gaza al-Daraj), Karam Ahmad Kamel al-Hindi (Khan Younis), Ahmad Mohammad Ahmad al-Shaer (Khan Younis), Ashraf Mohammad Hassan Zamqat (Khan Younis), Fares Ahmad Mahmoud al-Shaer (Khan Younis), and Ghassan Rouhi Mahmoud Aql (Jabalia).
This group is part of a series of limited and intermittent releases carried out during March. Those released are typically transferred through the Kerem Shalom crossing before being handed over to the Red Cross, which facilitates their transport to hospitals inside the Gaza Strip.
The releases follow a process in which former detainees are taken directly for medical evaluation and treatment upon arrival, reflecting concerns over their health conditions following detention.
