The Palestinian ministry of prisoners and ex-prisoners revealed on Wednesday that the number of Palestinian administrative detainees in Israeli prisons has reached 850 prisoners, the highest since 2015.
The ministry pointed out that there is a sharp increase in the number of administrative detainees in Israeli prisons, adding that Israel uses this policy as a tool of collective punishment against the Palestinian people.
Moreover, the ministry added that 18% of the prisoners are held administratively in Israeli prisons and Israeli occupation forces detain 200 Palestinians per month.
4700 Palestinians, including 32 women and 190 minors, are currently held in Israeli prisons under poor conditions.
