DayofPal-At least 12 displaced Palestinians, including children, were killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting a displacement tent west of Khan Younis city, south of the Gaza Strip, on Tuesday.
Local sources said the Israeli occupation army suddenly pounded a tent housing the Zenoun family, killing and injuring many of them.
Eyewitnesses reported that another Israeli airstrike targeted a vehicle that was transporting injured people from a previous strike that attacked the tent west of Khan Younis.
The car was set on fire and the people retrieved from the car were seen completely charred.
The vehicle that was subsequently hit resulted in the killing of at least three people.
Since the onset of the Israeli war on Gaza in October 2023, 41,638 have been killed in Israeli assaults, with more than 96,460 wounded and an estimated 10,000 uncounted for and presumed dead.
The death toll includes at least 16,800 children, 11,400 women, nearly 1,000 health workers, 174 journalists and 220 UN workers
