Hundreds of Israeli settlers, protected by Israeli occupation forces, invaded on Sunday, October 16, the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Palestinian local sources reported that at least 250 Israeli settlers broke into the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque and performed provocative rituals at the Al-Qatanin gate.
The sources added that Israeli occupation forces detained a Palestinian youth at the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, coinciding with the settlers’ incursions.
Meanwhile, the Israeli forces deployed at the gates of Al-Aqsa, preventing Palestinian women worshippers from entering the Mosque.
Since last Monday, settlers have intensified their incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque to commemorate the so-called Sukkot Jewish holiday, as 3,500 settlers have invaded Al-Aqsa until today.
