Thousands of Palestinian citizens performed Friday, May 5, 2023, Al-Fajr prayer (Dawn prayer) at the blessed Al-Aqsa and Ebrahimi Mosques to confront Israeli settlers’ storming and the Judaization schemes into the two mosques.
The Al-Aqsa mosque witnessed a high presence of Palestinian worshipers who came from the occupied Jerusalem, West Bank, and the 1948-occupied Palestinian territories.
In the occupied Hebron, hundreds of Palestinian worshipers performed the AL-Fajr prayer in the Ebrahimi Mosque and confirmed their insistence to protect the mosque from the Israeli occupation and colonizers’ violations.
They also rejected the systematic closure of the mosque, banning the call to prayer, and preventing Palestinians to pray in their own mosque.
days ago, Jerusalmite activists called for wide participation in the Great Dawn campaign, which calls to intensify the Palestinians’ presence in the mosque to thwart the Judaization schemes and Israeli settlers’ attempts to divide it temporally and spatially.
The Great Dawn campaign started for the first time in November 2022 in the Ebrahimi mosque in Hebron in response to Israeli settlers’ repeated attacks and storming of the mosque. Then, it moved to the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
