DaysofPal- Ten Palestinians were injured on Sunday evening in attacks carried out by Israeli settlers, while Palestinian property and vehicles were set on fire in the towns of Deir al-Hatab and Deir Sharaf near the city of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.
In a statement, the Palestine Red Crescent Society reported that its teams treated 10 injuries resulting from a settler attack on Deir al-Hatab village, with all cases transferred to the hospital.
The organization detailed that the injuries included one gunshot wound to the foot, six cases of physical assault, one case of smoke inhalation, and one head injury caused by a stone.
According to the Palestinian News Agency WAFA, settlers attacked homes in the village, setting several houses ablaze in addition to burning multiple vehicles.
In the nearby village of Deir Sharaf, northwest of Nablus, eyewitnesses reported that settlers arrived in seven civilian vehicles and set fire to a bulldozer, a small truck, and several parked cars at a vehicle yard.
Witnesses added that settlers attempted to attack homes in the area but were unable to enter them.
Further northwest of Nablus, approximately 30 masked settlers attacked the archaeological site of al-Masoudiya, setting fire to part of a tourist tent before local residents confronted them and forced them to withdraw.
Since Saturday evening, settlers have launched a series of attacks targeting multiple locations across the West Bank, resulting in at least 17 Palestinian injuries and the burning of homes and vehicles, according to the Palestine Red Crescent and official media sources.
Data from the Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission indicate that settlers carried out 511 attacks across the West Bank through February alone.
Additionally, seven Palestinians have been killed by settler gunfire since the end of February up to Sunday.
Since the outbreak of the war on Gaza on October 8, 2023, attacks by Israeli forces and settlers across the West Bank have resulted in the deaths of 1,133 Palestinians, the injury of approximately 11,700 others, and the arrest of around 22,000, according to Palestinian sources.
Beyond killings and arrests, these attacks have also involved widespread destruction of homes and infrastructure, forced displacement of Palestinians, and continued settlement expansion across the West Bank, including Jerusalem, which is regarded by the international community as occupied territory.
