S.K | DOP -

Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) raided Wednesday, April 5, 2023, the town of Al-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem for the second day in a row, and the town of Tuqu’, southeast of occupied Bethlehem, leading to violent confrontations in both.

Local sources reported that the confrontations focused on the main entrance to the town of Al-Ram, during which the occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters indiscriminately at Palestinian citizens and their homes.

Meanwhile, confrontations erupted in the town of Tuqu’, southeast of Bethlehem between Israeli soldiers and Palestinian citizens, which led to many Palestinians suffocating from gas inhalation.

Activist Mustafa al-Badan said that violent confrontations broke out in the Khirbet al-Deir area on the main street in the town of Tuqu’, during which the occupation forces fired live bullets, teargas, and sound bombs, which resulted in the suffocation of a number of Palestinian citizens.

Tensions have escalated between Palestinian citizens and  Israeli occupation forces amid intensified Israeli deadly military raids in occupied Palestinian territories.

Yesterday night, Israeli Forces stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque in an attempt to evacuate Palestinian worshipers, preventing them from praying inside.

According to local sources, IOF fired tear gas canisters and stun grenades directly toward Palestinian worshipers in Al-Aqsa Mosque leading to the injury of many of them there.
