A US Official holding the Israeli-Palestinian portfolio at the US State Department has accused the invading Israeli soldiers of “systematically” sexually abusing Palestinian women, during a meeting with an Israeli General serving in the army, Amir Avivi.
According to Jerusalem Post, the General explained in an interview on 103FM that the US official recounted shocking information about Israeli soldiers who exploit their military operations to sexually abuse Palestinian women, saying that “The UN presented evidence to the Israeli government on the matter.”
In a special report issued after the seventh of October, the UN warned that both female and male Palestinians had been subjected to sexual violence and torture by Israeli occupation soldiers.
The US official’s accusation is not disconnected from the reality and live testimony of Palestinian women who were either released from Israeli prisons or evacuated from Al-Shifa hospital and other fighting zones.
On Saturday, a Palestinian woman who was stuck at Al-Shifa hospital then evacuated later, told Al-Jazeera in an online interview that the invading Israeli soldiers rapped a pregnant woman in front of her husband and kids’ eyes after she begged them not to harm her, for she was exhausted a five-month pregnancy.
“She begged them only to find soldiers beating her, stripping her of clothes, and rapped her before her relatives’ eyes,” Jameela Al-Hessi, the evacuated woman said.
The soldiers ordered all detained men in the place not to close their eyes on this disgusting episode; otherwise, they would be killed, Al-Hessi added.
