UN Rapporteur, “International law criminalizes the use of human shields”
The United Nations Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in the Palestinian Territories condemned today, Saturday, March 1, the Israeli occupation’s crimes in Jericho and its use of defenseless Palestinian civilians as human shields.
“International law criminalizes the use of human shields,” she said.
Today, the Israeli occupation forces stormed Aqabat Jabr camp, killing a Palestinian citizen and wounding others during their violent aggression on the camp’s residents.
A video clip documented that the occupation forces placed a Palestinian man and his son as human shields during their raid on the camp.
