The European Union condemned the increase in Israeli settler violence today, Sunday, July 31st, the latest of which the murder of the 15-year-old boy, Amjad Nashaat Abu Alia, in the village of Al-Mughayer, northeast of Ramallah.
In a press statement today, the European Union called for a prompt and transparent investigation into the murder of the boy, Abu Alia.
The Ministry of Health announced the death of the 15-year-old boy, Abu Alia, from a live bullet wound to the chest, last Friday.
Violent confrontations erupted in the village led by the Israeli occupation forces and Israeli settlers, following the suppression of an Arab peaceful march organized by the national and Islamic forces in the village and the Committee to Resist the Wall and Settlement, which was organized in rejection of the settlers’ attacks on the villagers.
It is noteworthy that the settlers are attacking the village of Al-Mughayer continuously, especially the areas of Ain Samiya and Marj al-Dhahab, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, with the aim of seizing more of its lands.
