The Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sunday 17 April 2022 condemned the Israeli occupation forces’ attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque and defenseless Palestinian worshippers.
In a statement, the Sudanese ministry slammed this systematic escalation as a gross encroachment upon the sanctity of al-Aqsa mosque and a violation of international resolutions and conventions.
The Sudanese Ministry called on the international community to assume its duty and hold the Israeli government fully responsible for the repercussions of the continuation of such crimes and violations.
Also, it called on the Israeli government to immediately stop the violations and its continuous attempt to Judaize Jerusalem by imposing a fait accompli on the ground.
It renewed its firm stance in support of the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination and the establishment of a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital in accordance with the two-state solution and United Nations resolutions.
