For the third consecutive day, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) escalated attacks on Lebanon, targeting the Saadiyat area south of Beirut on Wednesday.
A Lebanese security source said that an Israeli airstrike struck the Saadiyat area near Beirut at dawn Wednesday, a few hours after a raid on the southern suburb of the capital.
The Israeli attack on Saadiyat, which is located on the Lebanese coast 20 kilometers south of Beirut, targeted a warehouse. No material or human losses were reported.
Israeli airstrikes targeted several towns in the Baalbek district in eastern Lebanon also at dawn.
The Israeli air force also launched raids targeting the Al-Hamila area near Houmin Al-Fawqa in the Iqlim Al-Tuffah region, and the vicinity of the towns of Midoun and Sahmar in the western Bekaa, east of Lebanon, causing electricity to be cut off in the Mashghara plain.
The Lebanese Minister of Health announced that Israeli aggression in Lebanon claimed the lives of hundreds people and wounded thousands more.
Over the past two days, about 90,530 people in Lebanon have been displaced due to the escalation of Israeli attacks, according to the International Organization for Migration.
