In a display of unity and support, solidarity marches took to the streets of New York, Paterson, and Illinois to denounce the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people and reject the crimes committed by the occupation forces in the city of Jenin and its refugee camp.
The participants, held in front of the United Nations headquarters in New York City, as well as in Paterson, New Jersey, and Chicago, Illinois, demanded the urgent intervention of the United States administration and decision-making institutions in Washington to restrain and hold the Israeli occupation accountable for its crimes against the Palestinian people.
They also called for an end to the “terrorism of settlers” targeting innocent civilians.
Thousands of protesters carrying placards and Palestinian flags filled the streets, chanting slogans demanding justice and freedom for the Palestinians.
The atmosphere was charged with emotion as speakers addressed the crowd, highlighting the urgent need for international action to stop the ongoing violence and human rights abuses.
Amidst the chants of solidarity, speakers passionately expressed their outrage over the recent Israeli attacks on Palestinian territories and the plight of the people of Jenin.
They condemned the indiscriminate bombings, destruction of infrastructure, and the loss of innocent lives, calling for an immediate end to the Israeli aggression.
Protesters emphasized that the situation in Palestine requires urgent international attention, as they believe that the silence and inaction of the international community only perpetuate the suffering and injustice experienced by the Palestinian people.
