Israeli occupation forces murdered a Palestinian youth in Umm Safa village in the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah on Friday evening, July 7, 2023.
Abdulrahman Saleh, 24, was killed by IOF’s bullets while confronting the Israeli settlers’ attacks on Umm Safa village, in the central occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a statement that Saleh reached Istishari Arabic Hospital in serious condition as he was shot in the chest by Israeli gunfire.
The Health Ministry added that medical crews strived to save his life, but he succumbed to his wounds sooner.
Dozens of Israeli settlers invaded Umm Safa village on Friday evening and attacked Palestinian families, triggering confrontations.
Israeli forces, who provide protection for settlers, opened fire at Palestinian youths who tried to confront the settlers’ attack, killing Saleh and injuring others.
Saleh is the third Palestinian youth to be killed by Israeli forces since the early hours of Friday. IOF killed two other Palestinians during a military raid in Nablus in the morning.
