A group of Israeli settlers attacked Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem today.
Amin Burqan, a resident of the neighborhood, stated that the occupation forces stormed the Al-Sumoud refugee camp in the neighborhood, in conjunction with an attack by settlers, where citizens’ vehicles were smashed, their homes stormed, stones were thrown at them, and live bullets were fired at them.
The occupied city of Jerusalem is witnessing a state of boiling as a result of the settlers’ attacks, who organized violent and provocative marches in the city’s neighborhoods.
Clashes erupted between Palestinian youths who flocked from the cities and villages of the 48 lands and from the city of Jerusalem and the occupation police before the flags march, as the Israeli authorities tried to suppress anyone who tried to raise the Palestinian flag in Al-Aqsa.
The Israeli authorities arrested a number of Palestinians, including two minors, Amir and Mahmoud Jabarin. They pursued their sister after she raised the Palestinian flag inside the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque. Several injuries occurred during the confrontations that erupted in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque before the flags march.
