Israeli Jewish settler run over on Friday a Palestinian child from Qaliqilia in the occupied West Bank.

Local sources said that a 12-year-old Palestinian child was run over and wounded by an Israeli settler at Wadi Qana junction, to the east of Qalqilia in the occupied West Bank, local sources said.

Saher Eid, mayor of Jinsafut village, told the official WAFA news agency that Othman Abdullah Sabra, 12, was run over by an Israeli settler at the said junction, and was rushed to a hospital in “Israel” for medical treatment.

The issue of settlers’ crimes has escalated in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem. Such attacks include using vehicles to run over Palestinians, arson, gunfire, the seizure of property, the destruction of crops, raiding homes, blocking roads, and beatings.

All take place in a difficult and painful environment in which the Palestinians find themselves alone, without any protection.
