Days of Palestine – Nablus
Israeli occupation forces (IOF) shot injured on Friday at least 71 Palestinian protesters in Beita village in Nablus in the occupied West Bank while participating in the weekly anti-occupation protest.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said at least 71 Palestinians were injured by the IOF during the peaceful protests against Israel’s occupation in Beita.
IOF attacked the protesters by intensively firing rubber-coated metal bullets, sound bombs, and live ammunition to disperse them.
Nine of them were injured with Israeli rubber-coated metal bullets, including Quds News Network’s reporter, Abdallah Bahesh, and another journalist, identified as Ja’afar Shtayyeh.
Beita village has been the site of weekly protests against the Israeli occupation and settlement expansion, which are often suppressed by Israeli forces.
