Al-Mezan Center for Human Rights held Israel responsible for the death of Dr. Ziad Al-Dalou in Israeli jails.
In a statement issued on Thursday, Al-Mezan called for opening an investigation into the circumstances of Dr. Al-Dalou’s death in Israeli custody.
The center noted that Dr. Al-Dalou’s death came as part of the Israeli systematic abuse against Palestinian detainees.
According to information gathered by the center, the Israeli forces detained Dr Al-Dalou from the Gaza Strip on 18 March. No more information was given about his death causes.
The human rights group called for opening an immediate investigation into the real reasons behind the doctor’s death.
It also called upon the international community to fulfill its moral and legal obligations concerning the Israeli ongoing genocide being committed in the Gaza Strip.
