Israeli warplanes targeted several areas of the Gaza Strip over the last 24 hours and killed at least 34 Palestinians.
In a statement issued Thursday, Gaza Civil Defense spokesman Mahmoud Basal affirmed that nine children were among the reported victims.
Since the start of the ongoing Israeli genocide on the Gaza Strip on Oct. 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation army has killed at least 41,272 Palestinians, including 16,795 children and 11,378 women. 95,551 more Palestinians have been injured during the same reported period.
According to health authorities, thousands remain trapped under rubble.
Israel’s continued targeting of hospitals, schools and other civilian infrastructure is also causing widespread destruction of essential services.
