Palestine Scholars Association (PSA) condemned Sunday, June 25, 2023, the Israeli settlers’ attack on a mosque in Nablus and the burning of copies of the holy Qur’an a few days ago.
“The settlers’ burning of copies of the Qur’an and desecrating a mosque in Nablus is provocative to feelings of Muslims and Palestinians,” said the association.
It stressed that the Israeli settlers don’t respect the sanctity and privacy of Palestinian places as they repeatedly attack Palestinian towns, homes, and sanctities.
It also called on all countries to stop normalization with the Israeli occupation and support the Palestinian people to end the Israeli occupation of Palestine.
On June 22, Israeli settlers stormed the Al-Ribat Mosque in Orief village, in the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, and caused great damage to the mosque, tearing the holy book of the Quran and throwing them to the ground.
