Colonial Israeli settlers burned on Sunday, 25 June 2023 Six dunums of agricultural crops owned by Palestinian residents in the occupied West Bank village of Turmusaya, north of Ramallah.
Local Palestinian sources reported that Israeli settlers set fire to 6 dunams planted with wheat belonging to the Palestinian man Nidal Ahmed Abu Alia from the village of al-Mughayyir, east of Ramallah.
Earlier on Wednesday, some 400 Israeli settlers invaded Turmusaya town and attacked the Palestinian residents and their properties, causing damage to their belongings.
Israeli settlers killed the 25 years old Palestinian youth Omar Jabara and injured at least 12 Palestinians with live ammunition after being attacked by Israeli settlers in the Palestinian town of Turmusaya.
Moreover, some 30 homes and 60 cars were torched during the rampage by the Israeli settlers.
The Head of Delegation to represent the EU in the West Bank and Gaza Sven Kühn von Burgsdorff condemned the settler attacks in the occupied West Bank, describing it as a “terrorist attack.”
Tensions have escalated between Palestinians and Israeli colonial settlers amid intensified Israeli deadly military raids in occupied Palestinian territories.
Palestinian officials said this was the deadliest start to a year there since 2000. More than 164 Palestinians have been killed since the start of 2023 across the occupied Palestinian lands.
